I was 158 and now 142 at 5?6? very physically active 64 year old female. "Several years ago I saw DR Colbert on K.Copeland's Believers Voice Of Victory TV show & John Hagees TV show.Even though I have taken vitamin supplements for years I had not changed what I was eating.I had knee surgery & went thru physical therapy about 3 yrs ago at a weight of about 250 lbs.After reading several of DR Colberts books & watching him on TV he inspired me to change not only what I ate but also what I drank and how much I exercised..I started eating mainly chicken & salads,apples & other fruits,vegetables with sticking with organic foods as much as possible.I cut out all breads,desserts & high carb foods.I use low carb protein bars as snacks along with fruits & nuts.I went from trying to lose weight to just trying to eat the right kind of foods as DR Colbert suggest.I now drink only bottled waters that he suggest such as Mountain Valley & Penta.I also increased my exercise time to 1-2 hrs a day 6 days a week.I now weigh about 178lbs at age 58 losing 70lbs+.Thanks DR Colbert for being a Christian inspiration to me and my family!!"


I just want to send a great big thank you to Dr. Colbert and all connected with him for writing his book: The I Can Do It Diet. I have been reading and applying the principles for about 6 weeks now and am so pleased. I am 58 years old and have worked on my weight for as long as I can remember. I have kept it fairly well in check but as I get older it just seems to keep creeping up even though I have some very good habits established. I was getting so frustrated and giving up so often. But recently I knew I had to do something different. I was walking through a book store and read the title on this book. I thought well maybe there is something in there I do not know. I read a few paragraphs here and there and bought the book. I have learned so much and am able to apply what I already knew to this. I am losing now and am on a good road. I am glad I have the book to refer to often. I just had to send kudos to you and let you know how much you have helped me. Thank you also for the recipes.
